END FORCED CHILD STREET BEGGING
An estimated 100,000 boys under the age of 18 (Talibés) living in schools (Daraas) across Senegal are forced to beg daily for their keep. You can invest in income-generating activities that support these Daaras, and break the cycle of forced begging for good.
Make a donation.
Example Costs to the Organization Include:
$3000: About one van (one van can generate ~$1390 in new monthly income for one of our partners; 100% of these funds go to keeping boys from begging).
$1000: Monthly food cost for 70 boys off the street; the baseline for 70-90 boys off the street!
$50: One boy attends school for a year (includes school supplies).
Any Amount: We use general funds to train local school supporters in business operations, and as capital investment into business ventures.
We need you!
